About

A short page about the person behind this site. Updated occasionally, which is to say: rarely.

I’m a software designer living in the Pacific Northwest. I work on tools for thought — software that helps people do quiet, slow, careful work. Most of what I make is small. Some of it ships.

This site is where I keep the things that don’t fit anywhere else. Essays I’m drafting, projects I’m midway through, a running ledger of what I’ve read and watched. It is not optimized. It is built deliberately and slowly.

About this site

The site is a fork of internet-development/www-sacred— SRCL. Three runtime dependencies: next, react, react-dom. No UI library, no CSS framework, no icon set. Typography is Newsreader and JetBrains Mono, both self-hosted.

The colophon is part of the work. If you find an error, tell me.

  1. A page describing how a thing was made — usually at the back of a book. Designers borrow the word for the “made with” line. I prefer the long form.
